rahidz2003 asked: If we had super-advanced technology, in like 200 years, could we re-create dinosaurs like in Jurassic Park? Or is there something else we’d need to have or know? Or is it just plain impossible?

conste11ations asked: Ok this is a weird question, but I remember learning about some kind of bacteria that evolved after the dinosaurs became extinct. I think it started with a “t” but I’m not sure. It was sort of oblong and the pictures showed it as being grey.
Maybe it wasn’t bacteria, but it was some kind of tiny organism?

Fantail Flycatcher asked: By looking at bone fossils how did scientists come to know about skin texture (rough or smooth, hirsute or hairless, colour). I have read that they recently found partially mummified dinosaur with intact skin.
I am not only asking abt dinosaurs but all prehistoric animals like giant sloth, saber tooth etc.

David L asked: It seems to me that if the definition of dinosaurs was scientifically based then elephants, hippopotamus, and possibly some other large land mamals would be classified as dinosaurs. Perhaps someone can help me understand what is the basis of the definition of dinosaurs. To say that extinction is one of the defining attributes is not a biological criteria.

Sarah asked: Ever wonder what life on Earth would be if the extinction of the dinsosaurs 65 million yrs ago never happened?
I’ve always thought about that. If that or even the farther history of mass extinctions. Would we still have evolved into humans and what would the temperatures be like(if there was a change to that assuming so). Would there still be dinosaurs living on this planet?

DAMn asked: Dinosaurs lived from about 230 million to about 65 million years ago. What modern people have clues about dinosaurs are fossils and bones found under ground or somewhere else. But how could scientists know that dinosaurs looked like they way we see them on tv, movies or internet? Fossils and bones do not represent look. Is it just imagination?
It is not possible at all to figure out the shape and look from fossils. They existed millions of years ago, in this long time we are not supposed to have strong clue about the look. Someone said “combining all bones”, who found all the bones of a single dinosaur body? only parts of the bones were found, still extremely decayed because of millions of years.
